Spring breeze blows into the college; tender shoots compete in blooming brightly. As one student of the 2021 Grade Medical Innovation Experimental Class withdrew, Huankui College recently organized and launched the student merit-based supplementary recruitment work for the spring semester of 2023.

With the goal of effectively selecting top-notch medical talents with solid foundations, innovative thinking, research-oriented spirit and comprehensive literacy, and adhering to the core requirements of merit-based selection, quality assurance and upholding the principle of "preferring vacancies to mediocrity", the recruitment was open to clinical medicine majors who had outstanding academic performance (ranked top 10% in grade point average) during their school years and were willing to study in the experimental class. After screening, four students applied and met the supplementary recruitment requirements, advancing to the interview assessment.

On March 27, Huankui College held an interview session for the 2023 spring semester student merit-based supplementary recruitment. Through two sessions—PPT presentation and defense and on-site questioning by experts—the students' competence, scientific research potential and personal qualities were comprehensively evaluated. Finally, one student was merit-selected and admitted to the 2021 Grade Medical Innovation Experimental Class.
