On September 9, Professor Liao Lan, Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, was invited to Huankui Academy's Lecture Hall. Delivering a speech themed "Aspire High and Embrace the Future of Medicine" as an alumna of Jiangxi Medical University and a respected mentor, she engaged in warm exchanges with Huankui students, sharing her personal journey of growth, academic pursuit, and career development. She encouraged young students to bravely shoulder the mission of the times and achieve a fulfilling life.

Professor Liao reviewed her transformation from a politically reliable and professionally competent student of Jiangxi Medical University to a renowned educator, pioneering researcher, and medical management expert through three dimensions: "A Pursuit of Excellence in Medical Practice," "A Passion for Refinement in Teaching," and "A Dream of Continuous Innovation in Scientific Research." She sincerely shared profound insights from different life stages, urging students to inherit and practice the century-old medical spirit of "Virtuous Integrity and Excellent Medical Skills" wherever they are. She emphasized adhering to the hospital motto of "Virtuous Integrity, Excellent Skills, Upholding Tradition and Innovating," and encouraged them to become idealistic, caring, grateful, innovative, and responsible young people in the new era who can shoulder the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.

Combining her academic background in prosthodontics, Professor Liao elaborated on the development history and future trends of stomatology at home and abroad. She also shared her cross-disciplinary education and work experience in medical-engineering integration, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary convergence. She spoke highly of Huankui Academy's model for cultivating compound top-notch innovative medical talents.

Professor Liao's two-hour lecture was filled with deep affection and passion, deeply inspiring the students present. The atmosphere was enthusiastic with thunderous applause. Many students said that it was not only an academic report but also a thought-provoking ideological and political education lesson. At the end of the lecture, Professor Liao Lan was appointed as an academic mentor of Huankui Academy.
