On June 4, Huankui College held a peer experience exchange meeting to help students learn more about scientific research, competitions, and postgraduate recommendation (bao yan), and use the power of role models to assist them in planning college life more scientifically. Three outstanding student representatives were invited: Song Zifan and Liu Miaowen from the 2018 Excellence in Medicine Class, and Pu Changqin from the 2019 Queen Mary College Class.  

Combining their strengths and experiences, the three representatives shared insights on various scientific research competitions, postgraduate recommendation processes and precautions, personal reflections, and suggestions.  

- Liu Miaowen, who was recommended to Sun Yat-sen University, focused on introducing the details of three major competitions, as well as her academic learning experience, time management skills, and career planning.  

- Song Zifan, admitted to Peking University through recommendation, emphasized precautions and personal experiences regarding summer camps for postgraduate recommendation and pre-recommendation interviews. In addition to document preparation, contacting supervisors, and interview tips, she also shared her mindset adjustment and reflections during the process.  

- Pu Changqin, leader of the national gold award project in the 7th and 8th China International "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, put forward the suggestion of "trying a different track" based on his undergraduate experiences, encouraging students to dare to try and face challenges bravely.  

After the sharing session, students actively sought advice from the seniors and sisters based on their own situations. With their patient answers, everyone gained a deeper understanding and thinking about their future personal planning.
