On December 19, the selection event for Nanchang University’s 2025 “Red Class” was held in the Concert Hall of Qianhu Campus. This selection aims to give full play to the exemplary and leading role of the "Red Class" and further deepen the practice of socialist core values education with Chinese characteristics. During this selection process, the 2023 Clinical Excellence and Innovation Experimental Class of Huankui Academy ranked third overall and won the honorary title of "Nanchang University's 2025 'Spark Camphor' Red Class".

The 2023 Clinical Excellence and Innovation Experimental Class of Huankui Academy adheres to Mr. He Huankui’s lofty spirit of “serving the country and helping the world” and strives to cultivate socialist medical talents in the new era with firm beliefs, tenacious will, and promising responsibilities. The class uses the "2558" action plan as an engine to systematically promote the in-depth integration of red genes (revolutionary traditions and socialist core values) and medical education - building a solid ideological foundation through party groups, using free clinic services, popular science education, and scientific research and innovation to fulfill the medical mission, and constantly tempering the sincere original intention of "Study for all mortal beings, Heal for the people." in the practice at the grassroots level.
