To strengthen campus fire safety management and enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of faculty and students, on April 13, Huankui Academy invited Wan Yaonan, a fire safety instructor from Nanchang Cheng'an Fire Safety Technical Service Center, to conduct fire safety training and a fire emergency evacuation drill.

During the training, Mr. Wan drew on real-world fire incidents to analyze fire hazards and explain everyday electrical safety, safe handling of flammable materials, and other key prevention measures. Beyond the lecture, he demonstrated how to don smoke masks and use the PASS method for fire extinguishers (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep). He then provided hands-on coaching to ensure participants could operate the equipment confidently.

To conclude the session, Mr. Wan led students through a fire evacuation drill. Under the supervision of staff, students carefully followed evacuation protocols—crouching low and covering their airways—and exited quickly via designated routes to the assembly point. The drill was efficient and well-coordinated.

The program blended classroom instruction with practical drills, boosting fire safety awareness and emergency response skills among participants while reinforcing the Academy's safety foundation and contributing to a safer, more secure campus.
